About Me

Hi, I'm Matthias Gehrmann – audio developer, software tinkerer, and creative mind from Northern Germany. My work bridges media creativity and code – from building audio plugins used by hundreds of thousands to producing music and performing as a DJ.

Audio Software

Under the brand A1AUDIO.de, I design and build professional audio plugins that focus on sound quality, simple usability, and creative workflows. My audio plugins like A1PrimeDelay, A1StereoControl, and A1TriggerGate are also trusted by hundreds of thousands of musicians, producers, and engineers across the globe.

My work has been featured in countless YouTube tutorials, renowned print magazines, websites, and blogs, consistently receiving highly positive reviews.

DJ and Music Producer

As a Music producer and DJ, I've had the privilege of sharing my music with hundreds of thousands of people worldwide – from the USA across whole Europe and all the way to Asia. My journey would not have been possible without the early support and mentorship from fellow DJs, producers, promoters, club owners, and event organizers. Their encouragement helped me turn my passion into a profession, and I remain deeply grateful for their belief in me.

You'll find my work on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and other major platforms. And of course on YouTube.

iOS App Development

Besides all the above, I'm currently working with Jakala.com in iOS development — previously FFW and, before that, Cellular. Over the years, I've contributed to a wide range of iOS applications for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, many of which have been used by millions of people. Some of them on a daily basis.

Other Technical Skills

After years of experience working with both large and small corporate clients — including various freelance projects — I've gathered a wide range of expertise across numerous technologies, some cutting-edge, some closer to the machine, and some that have stood the test of time.

So… does that make me a full-stack developer !?
I don't know. You decide.
